Amiens pays tribute to Jules Verne with a special jersey. The Picard club, equipped by Puma, has created a new third jersey combining bordeaux and gold.
What inspired this jersey?
The jersey was created by Evan Wattier, a young designer at Amiens SC. He wanted to highlight different visual elements from Jules Verne's universe, such as colors, gilding, and patterns.
Why this tribute to Jules Verne?
Jules Verne spent a large part of his life in Amiens, where he lived for 34 years after his marriage to Honorine de Vianne in 1857. He died on March 24, 1905, in Picardy and was buried in the Madeleine cemetery in Amiens.

The jersey was presented in a prestigious setting, a usual museum, with players such as Sébastien Corchia, Louis Mafouta, and Régis Gurtner. Amiens hopes that this special jersey will bring them luck for the rest of the season, after their 5-0 defeat against Saint Etienne on May 9, 2026.
